Design Research week5 ! Treasure/Junk Discussion!

When we are in the interview, there are many thing we should know.

1. use a recruiter
2. define and setup
3. screener and outreach
4. filter responses
5. schedule

This time we are taught by these main steps when you have an interview. First is "Use a Recruiter", give the recruiter time, and give the participant feedback to the recruiter. Next step is about "define and setup". The define part is to "type of profiles", "determine the location" etc. And the setup part focuses on how to create posting and work through other platform/google doc. Now we are in the third step. The "screener and outreach" what we have to do is between the internal and external screener/recruiter screener. Then try to extended our web connection to more people. The fourth step is having conversation, what is the project about and most important thing is create safety(I think). In the final, we have to contact the interviewee with the email, phone and so on. And don't forget to confirm with the interviewee before you have an interview. Also, don't forget to said "Thanks".

When I was in the undergraduate, we also had interview for our facility management project. But our professor didn't teach us how to react while in the interview. I still remember that we did have a successful interview but we also miss some details. This time we have a chance to learn these steps and after that we could be more understandable with the whole process. It is really helpful and useful when we have another interview no matter in which situation.

After the test(Thanks to our interviewee, Corey!), we found some problem in our probe. The picture would make the interviewee confused. There are too many brands and colors in pictures. The interviewee would mislead by the color and brand. For example, we have a Mac laptop picture but the interviewee may prefer PC more!
So we did some changes in pictures. Hope it would be better than before.
