We are going to discuss about "who", "what", "when", "where", "why", and "how". Who are they? What did they do? When are we going to? Where is the interviewee? Why they did these? How they did these?
After the interview, we had a discussion about these 2 interviewees. Although they were 2 different family and different background, we found there were some similar life styles between them. They mostly eat at home, the sentimental items are more important for them. Branding is important to husband. They are not impulse buyers. Also, they love traveling. We put our observations, quotes, and the similar parts on the foam board.
I found our interviewee she and her husband might not be so rich but she still chose this hotel-style studio to live.
The studio is not so big but enough for two people to live. There are one small living room with a kitchen, one bad room, one bathroom, and two closets. The furniture is new; the wood floor is shining; everything looks so nice. We believe that the rent here is expensive.
She said she would rather take some part time job such as clean dishes to get extra money. According to the probe, we can see most of the things are categorized into "NECESSARY" part. There are only two things she doesn't need. They are CHOPSTICKS and CHILDREN. I think it's because of the culture and their life style. At least, they think they do not want a child now.
Base on the interview, both of them collects things. The wife likes jewelry and the husband likes sneakers and Simpson DVD. Also, we discover that they changed their collection within their ages. For example, the husband collected basketball cards when he was teenager; however, when he grew up and had enough capability to play real basketball games, he stopped collecting these cards.
